Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania Announces Board Addition and Changes

PHILADELPHIA — (February 1, 2016) Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania has announced changes within its board of directors.

Mindy M. Posoff joined Ben Franklin’s board, while former chair Anthony Santomero was elected board member emeritus. Re-elected to a three year term were Michael Aronson, Tom Balderston, Alan J. Cohn, Kenneth G. Lawrence, Ami Miron, Bob Moul and RoseAnn B. Rosenthal. Changes were approved at the December 16 meeting of Ben Franklin’s board of directors.

“We’re thrilled to now have Mindy’s experience in early stage investment around our Board table.  Mindy has been active with Ben Franklin’s Corporate Development Committee and Investment Advisory Committees over the past several years,” said Ben Franklin board chair, Stephen T. Zarrilli.

Ms. Posoff is currently a Managing Director of Golden Seeds, an early stage investment network whose focus is on women leaders. Additionally, she is the founding partner of Traversent Capital Partners, a consulting firm providing strategic solutions for hedge funds and asset managers. Previously, Ms. Posoff was co-founder of New Market Capital Partners, a SEC registered investment management company focused on absolute return strategies, a VP at E*Trade and a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Ms. Posoff is also a member of the Board of Directors of AboutOne, an online family management company. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of 100 Women in Hedge Funds, a member of the Board of Managers of The Philadelphia Foundation and a member of Springboard Enterprises’ Council of National Advisors. In 2007, Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell appointed Ms. Posoff to the Board of Trustees of Salus University. Additionally, she has previously served as a Trustee of The HighMark Mutual Funds, a member of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and a Member-Director of the Samuel S. Fels Fund. Ms. Posoff has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from Beloit College.
