Tech-Enabled Real Estate Brokerage Houwzer Formed A New Parent Company, Newfound

This new company will encompass Houwzer and recently the acquired brand Trelora as well as new brands Dash, HomeRise and Newfound Enterprise.

Tech-enabled real estate brokerage Houwzer announced this month the launch of its new parent company, Newfound.

Mike Maher, CEO and cofounder of Newfound and Houwzer, said that when Houwzer acquired Trelora last year, the Center City-based, venture-backed company went from being a regional brokerage to a national real estate company. At the time, the acquisition expanded Houwzer’s presence to 14 states across the country.

“Newfound is the vehicle for that new and ambitious vision,” Maher told Technical.ly via email. “As we expanded our brokerage services to more homeowners, we started fielding more requests from investors and institutions asking for something similar for their specific verticals. HomeRise and Newfound Enterprise were a response to that demand.”

Newfound’s brands now include Houwzer and Trelora, along with new platforms HomeRise, Newfound Enterprise, and the transaction management software Dash.
