Jonathon Beschen

Jonathon Beschen is Managing Director of the Tech Investment Group at Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania. With two decades of experience in the Philadelphia startup ecosystem, Jonathon has served the community through his work at Ben Franklin since 2016 bringing deep expertise in entrepreneurship, early-stage investing, and ecosystem development.

Prior to joining Ben Franklin, Jonathon founded and led SparkNet Technologies, a pioneering consultancy delivering innovative technology solutions to regional startups and enterprise clients from 2006 to 2016. A recognized leader in the local innovation community, Jonathon has contributed significantly to regional economic development initiatives, including serving on the Chester County Workforce Development Board and co-founding the Liberty Valley Initiative, a non-profit fostering entrepreneurial collaboration across Greater Philadelphia.

Jonathon is a founding member of both the Global Opportunity Philadelphia Fund and Global Opportunity Pennsylvania Fund—fully owned subsidiaries of Ben Franklin—where he continues to serve on the Investment Committees, advancing capital access and inclusive innovation across the Commonwealth.
