PA Life Sciences Connect

PA Life Sciences Connect (Connect) is a new public/private partnership designed to ensure Pennsylvania’s prominence in the life sciences industry.

Connect represents the first comprehensive, regional approach to address the significant displaced life science employee population by leveraging the region’s life science assets.

Connect is a partnership among the region’s research institutions as technology generators, economic development organizations, seed capital providers, life science incubators, corporations & service providers.

The need for a comprehensive program is acute. Pennsylvania’s life science industry is an economic powerhouse employing more than 79,000 people directly & generating annual wages of $7.2B.* The life science industry in Pennsylvania is a leading source of scientific innovation that is improving the health & quality of life of people across the state & around the world through the development, manufacture & commercialization of products across all sectors of health care. Action is needed to retain our life sciences talent.
