Penn State is leading the Distributed Power Management at the Navy Yard program, developing a regional industry cluster around distributed power production and management.

The Distributed Power Management at the Navy Yard Program is developing distributed power technologies, management research and education that addresses industry and government needs.  The program is a partnership among Penn State, Ben Franklin and DVIRC, located in the Building 100 Innovation Center.

The Distributed Power Management program is funded with $700,000 from the Commonwealth of PA.
