Philadelphia, PA – September 21, 2004 - Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania's (BFTP/SEP) 20th anniversary collateral materials won three prestigious awards in the Northeastern Economic Developers Association (NEDA) 2004 Literature and Promotions Competition. The awards were presented on September 21st, at NEDA's 48th Annual Conference in Boston, MA. Ben Franklin's collateral materials were developed as part of its year-long anniversary commemoration.
BFTP/SEP's six-series print ad campaign which features themes related to [former governor] Dick Thornburgh, [technology commercialization] Solutions, [nanotechnology knowledge] Know Small Matter, [seed capital] One Investment, [entrepreneurial networks] Seeding, and [regional technology growth] Growing won an Excellent Award.
BFTP/SEP's 20th anniversary report, The History of Our Future, won both a Superior Award as well as a Best of Class Award – the highest honor awarded by NEDA. The History of Our Future is thematically structured around six characteristics drawn from Benjamin Franklin's life as a visionary, partner, inventor, social architect, network builder, and wealth creator. These same characteristics are used to convey BFTP/SEP's historical milestones as well as glimpses of the organization's future priorities.
