Philadelphia, PA - September 17, 2003 - Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania (BFTP/SEP) will roll out its new investment structures at its first three fall 2003 seed capital briefings. The new investment vehicles reflect a more customized, vertical-specific (Information Technology, Bio/Life Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing) structure.

Start-up and emerging growth technology companies located in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties are eligible for funding amounts ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 for product development and improvement.

The briefings, which will cover investment ranges and qualifications, proposal preparation, project match requirements, budget, evaluation process, and repayment schedules, are scheduled for the following dates and locations:
