This project seeks to identify ubiquitin protease inhibitors for cancer therapy. Regulation of the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway has been associated with diseases such as cancer, inflammation, cardiovascular disease and infection. Anticancer therapy for select patients may be approached by ubiquitin protease inhibitors (DUB’s) that suppress ocogene (cancer causing) products.
