InfraScan has developed a patented, hand-held diagnostic imaging device based on a PDA platform to rapidly detect bleeding in the brain. An initial field study performed with over 300 patients showed the device to be highly accurate in detecting brain hematomas and as a quick, affordable compliment to CT scanning to improve treatment of patients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
