Board of Directors of Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania Elects Two New Members
PHILADELPHIA, PA (www.sep.benfranklin.org) – The Board of Directors for Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania (BFTP/SEP), at its Annual Meeting on December 19, 2012, welcomed two new members to its Board: Richard S. Egosi, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary of Teva Pharmaceuticals, and Bob Moul, CEO of appRenaissance and President of Philly Startup Leaders.
The Board re-appointed Board Members Michael Aronson, Managing Partner, MentorTech Ventures; Thomas M. Balderston, President, Balderston Capital, LLC; Alan J. Cohn, Ben Franklin Finance Committee Vice-Chairman, and Co-President, Sage Financial Group; Kenneth G. Lawrence, (Former) Chairman, PECO Energy Company; Anil (Bob) Kothari, Senior Vice President, Procurian; Charles P. Pizzi, (Former) CEO & President, Tasty Baking Company; Matthew Rieke, M.D., Partner, Quaker Partners; and Anthony M. Santomero, Ph.D., Ben Franklin Chairman, and (Former) President, Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.

Richard S. Egosi
Richard S. Egosi is the Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary for Teva Pharmaceuticals, a multinational pharmaceutical company. Mr. Egosi is a member of the Teva Executive Committee and oversees the legal, compliance, intellectual property and public policy functions for Teva. He has worked both domestically and abroad for Teva Pharmaceuticals since 1995, holding his current position since 2010, and as Sr. Vice President and General Counsel of the Americas from 2000 to 2010. Prior to joining Teva Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Egosi was in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in both corporate law and general litigation from 1988 to 1994.
Mr. Egosi is a member of numerous trade associations and local non-profit organizations in both Pennsylvania and New York and is a general partner in several real estate and commercial business ventures.
Mr. Egosi is a 1984 cum laude graduate of Clemson University, South Carolina, with a BS in Economics, and a 1988 graduate of Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, with an MBA and JD degree, earning the distinction of The Order of the Coif and served as a member of the Emory Law Review.
Bob Moul
Bob Moul is a Philadelphia tech CEO / entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in the hi-tech industry, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies. In his latest venture, Mr. Moul is chairman and CEO of appRenaissance, a developer of innovative mobile application tools and infrastructure. He is also the President of Philly Startup Leaders.
Mr. Moul was the president and CEO of Boomi, pioneers of middleware for cloud computing, which was acquired by Dell in November 2010. Boomi was a BFTP/SEP investment client. Previously, he was president of SCT’s $300mm global education solutions business which was acquired by SunGard in 2003. He also enjoyed a 19-year career at EDS where he held senior management positions, including director of EDS’ operations in Hong Kong and China, and executive director of its federal government business in Australia. Mr. Moul graduated from the University of Maryland, University College, with a master’s degree in technology management. He is a 2007 alumnus of DC-based Mindshare and was named a 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in Philadelphia.
