Exton, Pa.-based ViroPharma is getting $583,000 in state incentives to add 151 employees and expand its operations in Chester County, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The Inquirer says ViroPharma (NASDAQ:VPHM) is almost doubling its employee count, currently 188, as well as its office space.
Last month the Food and Drug Administration approved ViroPharma’s application for industrial-scale manufacturing of Cinryze, a therapy for the prevention of attacks in adolescent and adult patients with hereditary angioedema or HAE.
