Thirty years ago, Ben Franklin seeded companies and partnerships in southeastern Pennsylvania’s emerging biotechnology industry. It became the region’s fastest growing technology sector.

In the 1990s we focused on the internet revolution.

In 2000, we partnered to bring focus to new opportunities in nanotechnology.

Today we are working to grow the region’s Alternative Energy and Clean Technology sector.

Ben Franklin works collaboratively with others across the region to develop the Innovation Infrastructure through Capital, Physical, Social and Technology Networks.

Ben Franklin works hand in hand with numerous economic development and entrepreneurial support organizations, including the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Philly Startup Leaders, bench2BUSINESS and PerkUp.
